Agreeing to these terms
Gradezi is operated by MMC Media LLC (“Gradezi,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Gradezi.
Who can use Gradezi
You must be an adult (18 or older) to create an account. Gradezi is meant to be held and managed by a parent, guardian, or teacher — not by a child. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your login to yourself.
What Gradezi does — and the honest limits
Gradezi reads a photo of a worksheet and suggests a grade. It is an aid, not an authority. The AI gets things wrong sometimes — it can misread handwriting or misjudge an answer. You are meant to review each result and remain the final judge of your children's work. Don't rely on a Gradezi score for anything important without checking it yourself.
Your content
The photos you take and the work they contain are yours. By using Gradezi, you give us permission to process that content only to provide the service — to read it, grade it, and store it in your gradebook as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership of your family's work, and we don't use it to advertise.
You're responsible for having the right to photograph and upload the material you submit, and for making sure it's appropriate schoolwork.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Use Gradezi for anything unlawful, or to upload content you don't have the right to.
- Try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service.
- Resell or repackage Gradezi as your own without our permission.
- Upload content that isn't schoolwork-related or that harms others.
We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service.
Plans and payments
Gradezi offers a free plan and, at launch, a paid plan. Paid subscriptions are billed through the App Store under its terms, including its rules for renewals, cancellations, and refunds. We'll show you the price and what you're getting before you buy, and we'll never charge you without your choice to subscribe. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.
Changes to the service
We're actively building Gradezi, so features may change, improve, or occasionally be removed. We may also update these terms; if we make a material change we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Gradezi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimers
Gradezi is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't warrant that grading will be error-free or uninterrupted. Gradezi is a grading aid and does not replace your own judgment as the educator.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMC Media LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Gradezi. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Utah, unless the law entitles you to bring it elsewhere.
